Admittedly, this is one of my favorite games to play on the course. It keeps things interesting. You might get slaughtered for six holes, but then you have 12 holes to make that all up. Here's how it's played: In a foursome, you rotate a playing partner every six holes. At the end of 18 holes, the other three players in your group will have been your partner for six holes.

You can use any scoring format in sixes and each six-hole stretch is a separate bet. Holes carry over obviously and on the second hole it's player B's turn to tee off first and choose. Extremely fun game. I made the mistake of playing with a 3some and I was having a terrible day so I was basically playing against 2 people the whole day.

Needless to say I lost my ass. We play wolf a lot but also have "Lone Wolf" were you call it before you tee off and get 3 dots if you win but loose 9 dots if the other players win the hole. There is also the option to "PIG" the wolf if the Wolf hit a bad shot and you crush it down the middle then you are going wolf for 2 dots but again can loose 6. Throw a tee up to see who gets the buck first, second, third, fourth. If you start with the pot, you keep it as long as you don't hit into trouble sand trap, water or OB or three putt. You also lose it if someone else makes a birdie. If you do hit into trouble or three putt, it goes to the next guy. Last man holding the buck when the round is over keeps it.

Old English sounds like it might be fun. Never played it, but heard about it. Make two parallel lines of equal players facing each other about 10 yards apart, tee up and whack away at the other team just like the old English armies did. Last man standing's team wins. I don't think this game has actually ever been played, nor is it intended to actually be played.
