Aberg ranks outside the top in putting from inside 10 feet this year. Brooks Koepka has been simmering on the LIV tour this year with an average finish of around 17th. He's currently 12th in driving distance on the LIV Tour. It's been a slow season for last year's FedEx Cup winner so far. Viktor Hovland missed the cut at the Masters and his best finish on the PGA Tour this year is a T19 at the Genesis - very unexpected if you bet on golf.

In Viktor Hovland is a lowly rd in tee-to-green performance which explains his absence from contending for the win or having the lead heading into the final round of a tournament. Signs of form are good though and a win could be just around the corner in his home state. Justin Thomas says he has played Valhalla several times and knows it more than most so this will stand him in good stead ahead of the PGA Championship tournament.

Thomas will have to warm up with the flat stick to justify his PGA Championship odds; he's currently th in strokes gained putting. We're now into the longer golf odds players and guys like former champ Keegan Bradley, Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson and even Tiger Woods might be worth a look here in various markets.

I'll start with Dustin Johnson though, albeit he may not be one of the obvious best bets. Can he bounce back and win the PGA Championship where he's been 2nd twice. Off the tee for DJ is his strength. He's 10th in driving distance on the LIV tour and the year-old plays with that famed Jack Nicklaus fade needed for the Valhalla Golf course.

Lack of competitiveness is the weak point for DJ. Nicolai has been impressive since his switch over to the PGA Tour. A strong performance of 16th in his debut at the Masters followed a runner-up finish at Torrey Pines earlier in the season. He might be a good outside bet for the PGA Championship.

Nicolai's driving ability is his strength and ranks 5th in Total Driving. The Dane is 1st in approaches from yards which is a key metric for the PGA Championship win. Look for some nice prop bets on Hojgaard. Despite his obvious golf ability Hojgaard is not hitting enough greens on the PGA Tour, ranking th in GIR and losing strokes per round to the field.

Si Woo Kim has been flying high under the radar in with lots of top 30 finishes without really challenging. Kim is one of the best ball strikers on the PGA Tour and he ranks 4th in strokes gained tee to green which will keep him out of trouble at the Valhalla golf course. This leads to a poor temperament kicking in at times for Si Woo.

Betting on the PGA Championship can be fun and potentially lucrative. I'm going to give you a heads-up on some bet types below and how to place your wagers starting with the outright win odds:. PGA Championship Futures betting is when you place a bet on the golf odds well before the golf tournament kicks off. You can get great odds on futures golf bets. Win odds ebb and flow when money comes in following different happenings in the world of golf.

Prop bets are fun and interesting bets that could be lucrative, often at high odds. An example of a golf prop bet is backing Si Woo Kim or Wyndham Clark to make a double bogey or worse in the first round. Or wager on a hole-in-one to be recorded by a golfer in round 2.
