New South Welshman Martin Peterson is also 4-under, recording a bogey free round. Not to be overshadowed by his higher profiled compatriots, Paterson produced arguably the performance of round one, shooting his age with a 1-under par round of Recent Lincoln Place NSW Senior Open winner Brad Burns opening his tournament with a flurry of birdies, making the turn at 4-under before giving three back to also finish at one under and in a tie for 11th.
